The Letter of Khadijeh

The Letter of Khadijeh- Written by Nader Musavi- 15 October 2018

I was talking to a friend during recess and lunch when I received the letter from one of the students. I asked what is this and who is this for? This is for Khadijeh, replied. I opened up the letter and read it with a loud voice so my friend can hear it. When I saw his excitements after I finished the letter, I told him, I receive these letters all the times. Then I saw Khadijeh, she was standing there looking at me with a smile on her face. I said Thank you Khadijeh this is a very kind letter and I waved at her. She waved back. Khadijeh is in second grade, she is always smiling and she has lots of energy and is always running around at recess time. Her brother Zarif and her sister Nazgol were our students as well. Unfortunately, her father is blind in his both eyes. Today, when I was really tiered, I checked my pocket and I found her letter. I opened it and read it again I got happier this time! I am happy because I received this kind letter instead of receiving bad words at the back of toilet walls from students. (I always check the writings on the walls to see what’s going on, and check whether there is anything about me. This is one of the ways we can see what is going wrong in our system). Be safe and happy my dear Khadijeh, I hope to see you as a doctor writing a prescription for me one day!

P.S: She is the second person from the left.
