Red and white
Khalid Nevisa was born in 1971 in Kabul. He worked for Anis publication during the Mojahedin era. Nevisa later left the office to go to Peshawar out of fear of the Taliban. After the events of September 11th, in 2001, he returned to Kabul and worked for Radio Azadi. He later entered the university and studied political science, but left the university, and in 2010 took refuge in Norway. His story collections: Chapter Five(Peshawar-1999), Rah-O-Chah(2010) and Ab-O-Danah(2006) have been published in Kabul. Nevisa is a storyteller, and the storytelling element in his stories is prominent among other elements. A selection of his stories was also published in French in 2001.
Red and White
The white dove was flown by the president. The dove flew, the president also stood on his tip toes; It was as if he wanted to fly with the dove. The sound of its wings faded amid the shouts of joy in the big stadium.
