You are reading a part of the book:
My uncle was like a furniture who lives with us as our colorful Kilim, As a child, I thought about and liked the colors and patterns of the kilim, and if I look at it from a distance, such as from the roof, I would enjoy it more. But I have never thought about my uncle with this point of view. I asked myself, why does my uncle live with us? And why don’t others’ uncles live with them? Why everyone lives with their father and brother and we live with our uncle? I often thought about it and sometimes came to the conclusion that then my uncle must have suddenly come to our house like a meteorite.
